About Us
DC Engaged Encounter (DCEE) is a an energized community of volunteer couples and priests whose common bond is our belief in the sacrament of marriage and family life. We provide a working weekend retreat format designed to create a focus on private couple communication. We want to be a positive part of your engagement.

In 2008, DCEE provided 10 weekend retreats, serving almost 300 couples in the DC area. Nationally, more than 20,000 couples participated in Catholic Engaged Encounter retreats. 

DCEE is a non-profit organization with no paid staff, relying solely on volunteers. We receive no money from the Catholic Church, depending on registration fees and the generosity of donors to support the weekends.
